I will share my top suggestions for the best local restaurants & coffee shops. We will explore my favourite yoga studios, participate in a local cooking class, and enjoy tranquil walks. All selected to provide an authentic taste of the best that Ubud has to offer, & all a short distance from our accommodation.

Hi! I'm Mel

...I'm your retreat host.

 

As a degree-qualified nutritionist & yoga teacher, I feel priviledged to have helped hundreds of women navigate their health, to feel better, so they can start living a fuller life.

In mid-life, the nutrition strategies need to be different & it is my passion to help women feel great again & come up with strategies that fit with their busy lifestyle. 

There is no time to feel confused & overwhelmed with your health...there's still way too much fun stuff to do...and guess what? This retreat is just the start of all the fun :)

What's Included?

Private Group Accommodation

 

Our group villa is located just outside the heart of Ubud & we have it all to ourselves! There will be a maximum of 12 of us. 

Located in Penestanan, known as the artist's village area, we are surrounded by amazing cafes, numerous yoga studios, serene walks through rice paddies & of course, good coffee!

The villa overlooks rice fields with views of Mt Agung and Campuhan ridge. The quiet, and discreet setting is only a 15 minute walk to the heart of magical Ubud.

 

Daily Nutrition & Yoga Sessions

The nutrition sessions are designed to be both educational & practical. You will gain information specific to women in mid-life and tools on how to eat to meet your health goals, whatever they may be.

Better yet, you will go home with meal ideas ready to implement, a recipe e-book with some of my favourite recipes, and knowledge on what will work for your body type.

The yoga sessions are optional, but will be accessible to all levels. I have picked four of my favourite studios so you get to see these amazing spaces, which are breathtaking to practice in.

Freshly prepared breakfast will be served each morning at the villa, with the aim of fuelling you for the day ahead. 

Savour delectable meals at the venue, and relish the culinary delights of an Ubud restaurant, boasting breathtaking views of the picturesque Tjampuhan Ridge.

At lunchtime you will have the opportunity to explore the many amazing cafe options close by, using the list of my favourite cafe's ...there is soooo much good value healthy food in Ubud.

Explore the Rooms

This authentic Balinese guest house has a variety of unique rooms.

Each room will be setup as a twin share & has air conditioning, ceiling fans, lockable cupboard storage, wi-fi, satellite TV, indoor/outdoor garden bathroom, private courtyard or terraces onto the 12 metre natural rock swimming pool. 

The villa fosters traditional skills and craftsmanship, from handmade wood-fired ceramics to artworks by the owner. Feel relaxed and at home with friendly and attentive staff who offer a connection to the culture of Bali.

Fresh filtered water is provided to save money and buying plastic bottles which add to waste.
