Tahini & Brazil Nut Bliss Balls
Jan 27, 2025These bliss balls are great for when you're trying to cut down on sugary foods. They still have some sweetness but nowhere near as much as store bought bliss balls. They also contain the goodness of brazil nuts (great for selenium to help your thyroid tick), tahini (a great non-dairy form of calcium) & cacao (which your gut bacteria love).
They store well in the fridge or freezer so you've always got something on hand for that mid arvo slump.
100 grams brazil nuts
100 grams almonds
50 grams cashew nuts
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
6 Medjool dates
1/2 cup tahini
2 tbsp protein powder
2tbsp cacao
2tbsp honey or maple
1tbsp coconut oil
- Place all the nuts into a high powered blender and pulse until nuts are in large chunks.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend until combined.
- Roll mixture into balls and coat with extra desiccated coconut.
- Refridgerate or freeze and enjoy!
